On the second day of Grand Prix of Moscow, the racers of Minsk Cycling Club won twelve awards, five of them of the highest order.
Separately worth noting the performance of Yauheni Karaliok, who twice climbed the podium that day. First, the leader of Minsk Cycling Club finished third in the elimination race behind his teammate Mamyr Stash, who finished second and won the Russian Sergey Rostovtsev. And then Yauheni had a very good points race. In the middle of the race, Karaliok attacked along with another representative of Minsk Cycling Club, Raman Tsishkou. The Belarusians failed to catch up with the group, but this did not prevent them from taking points at the intermediate finishes and taking the lead. And the finishing spurt at the final finish brought gold to Karaliok and silver to Tsishkou. The third position was taken by the racer from Tula Savva Novikov.
In the women's race, the representative of Minsk Cycling Club Karalina Biruk performed powerfully. First, she won the points race, beating Russian Maria Rostovtseva on the last lap. Another Minsk Cycling Club racer, Taisa Naskovich, was third in this event. In the points race, Karalina bet on the final finish, which brought her silver. Here the bronze also went to Minsk Cycling Club - it was won by Hanna Tserakh. Inna Abaidullina (Tula region) won the competition.
Among junior women, another two victories were added to her collection of awards by Palina Konrad, who confidently won both the elimination race and the points race.
Pavel Valuiko, the racer of Minsk Cycling Club, had no equals in the elimination race among junior men.
Also pleased with a successful performance the sprinter of Minsk Cycling Club Aliaksandr Hlova, who made it to the final for 1-2 place, where he lost just a little to Danila Burlakov (Moscow).
