On the first day of Grand Prix of Moscow, racers competed for medals in scratch, team sprint and tempo races. Racers of Minsk Cycling Club won eight awards of various value.

A stubborn struggle unfolded in the men's scratch. The victory was won by the representative of Russia Sergey Rostovtsev. Minsk Cycling Club racer Raman Tsishkou finished second. The third place was taken by the Moscowite Aleksandr Shakotko.

In the women's scratch, the attack in the last laps brought victory to the Moscowite Sofia Balaeva. The second place was taken by Natalia Frolova (Tula region). And on the third step of the podium climbed the racer of Minsk Cycling Club Hanna Tserakh.

But in the scratch finals among juniors, the representatives of Minsk Cycling Club won two victories at once. The junior women race was won by Palina Konrad. And Pavel Valuiko became the best among junior men.

In the men's tempo race, all the prizes went to Russian racers: 1. Sergey Rostovtsev; 2. Aleksandr Shakotko; 3. Savva Novikov. The best Belarusian racer was the representative of Minsk Cycling Club Raman Tsishkou, who took fourth place.

But in the tempo race among women, Minsk Cycling Club won two medals at once. Silver was won by Nastassia Kiptsikava, and bronze by Taisa Naskovich. Gulnaz Khatuntseva (Tula region) won the race.

The tempo race among junior women brought the second victory to Palina Konrad. And Pavel Valuiko added a silver medal in the tempo race among junior men to his collection of awards.
