The 68th Sochi traditional stage race was quite successful for Minsk Cycling Club: four podiums at the stages and second place in the overall standings.
More than a hundred racers from Russia and Belarus took part in the cycling race. Besides Minsk Cycling Club, our country was represented by the national team.
The starting stage was held at the Formula 1 circuit. In the mass sprint at the finish line of 146.2 km Yauheni Karaliok was the fastest. His teammate Mamyr Stash also finished in the top 3 of the stage.
The second mountain stage with a length of 144 km ended with the victory of the representative of Tyumen region Aleksandr Bereznyak. The best racer of Minsk Cycling Club, Mamyr Stash, came fifth, 10 seconds behind.
At the third stage of 157.5 km, which ended with a mass finish, Yauheni Karaliok took second place.
The race ended in the center of Sochi. 78 km, mass sprint again, again second place taken by Karlakiok, who, thanks to this result and the seconds earned at intermediate finishes, managed to climb to second place in the final overall standings.
