The third day of Belarus Track Cycling Open Cup brought Minsk Cycling Club four medals. Including gold of Hanna Tserakh in the women's omnium.
The racer of Minsk Cycling Club women's team performed smoothly in the first three races, finishing third in omnium, second in the tempo race and the elimination race, and advanced to the decisive points race as the leader of the overall standings.
In a stubborn confrontation with an experienced Russian Gulnaz Khatuntseva, Tserakh managed to stay in first place. After the last finish, the rivals were separated by one point. Nastassia Kiptsikava, another representative of Minsk Cycling Club, finished third.
Racers from Russia looked great in the men's omnium. As a result, Sergey Rostovtsev (151 points) won a landslide victory, and his compatriot Savva Novikov took second place (135). For the third position, the struggle between representatives of Minsk Cycling Club unfolded. Dzianis Mazur (128) had a more successful final points race. Thanks to the lap of distance advantage, in the final protocol he was ahead of Raman Tsishkou, who was one of the main contenders for victory.
The three winners in the women's sprint repeated yesterday's podium in keirin like a blueprint. The Russian Yana Burlakova again climbed to the top step of the podium. The second place was taken by her compatriot Serafima Grishina. And the third was Varvara Basiakova, a representative of Minsk Cycling Club.
In the men's sprint racer of Minsk Cycling Club Aliaksandr Hlova stopped a step away from the medal - fourth place. And the top three winners consisted of the trio from Moscow: 1. Aleksandr Sharapov; 2. Nikita Kalachnik; 3. Danila Burlakov.
