The second day of Belarus Cup in Brest brought another victory in the group races to Minsk Cycling Club.

The best among juniors was the representative of the capital club Kiryl Hutsko. His advantage over the nearest pursuer at the finish of the 116 km distance was more than impressive - 6:42. Pavel Valuiko, another racer of Minsk Cycling Club, finished second. The third was Uladzislau Yarash from Minsk.

Among women, at a distance of 77 km, there was also a breakaway. The trio, which arrived at the finish line with an advantage over the peloton of almost four minutes, consisted of racers from Minsk Cycling Club. The final sprint went to Anhelina Krasko. The second place was taken by Katsiaryna Rusak, the third - by Yuliya Usava.

The men's 116 km race followed a similar pattern. The trio of Minsk Cycling Club racers Yauhen Sobal and Aliaksei Shmantsar, as well as Aliaksandr Sychuhou from Viva Rovar.Art, broke away shortly after the start and confidently reached the finish line, despite the desperate attempts of the pursuit group to turn the tide in the race. The birthday boy Sobal attacked in the last kilometers and crossed the finish line in splendid isolation, making himself a great birthday present. Shmantsar lost 20 seconds to the winner, Sychuhou - 44 seconds. The finish of the group, which arrived more than two minutes later, was won by Uladzimir Harakhavik.
