Belarusian Cycling Federation, together with Minsk Cycling Club and Minsk City Executive Committee, are actively preparing for the new season of children's and youth cycling competitions "Pershy Rovar".

Launched in 2022, the project was a great success. Cheerful, dynamic starts with an entertainment and concert program for every taste, numerous prizes and gifts were liked by children and their parents.

2,300 young cyclists took part in the competitions, which were held in all districts of the city of Minsk. And the final festival, which took place in October at the legendary Minsk-Arena velodrome, became a real celebration of cycling.

After the bright final chord, the question of the future of the project was no longer raised. "Pershy Rovar" has proved its worth, relevance and importance in promotion and popularization of a healthy lifestyle and cycling in the country.

In the new season, "Pershy Rovar" will continue in a familiar format, but with some changes. In 2023, the competition will reach the national level. The qualifying rounds will be held not only in nine districts of Minsk, but also in Brest within the multi-day cycling race "Tour of Belarus". The final round will again host Minsk-Arena Velodrome.

Boys and girls aged 5 to 10 years old will compete in three categories: mass race, artistic cycling and relay race.

The start of the second season of "Pershy Rovar" project is scheduled for April 29. Time and place of the event one will find out from the news on the pages of "Pershy Rovar" in social networks, as well as on the websites of the Belarusian Cycling Federation and Minsk Сycling Сlub.
