A multi-day race among women of the Road Cycling Championship of the Republic of Belarus ended in Vitebsk region.
The program of the cycling race on August 20 was opened by the prologue, which was won by the racer of Minsk Cycling Club Hanna Tserakh, who showed the best time and took the yellow jersey of the leader. Nastassia Kiptsikava finished second. Third was Palina Konrad, who got the white jersey of the best young rider.
At the first stage (86 km), excelled Nastassia Kiptsikava, who won from a breakaway and led the overall standings. The closest pursuers Palina Konrad, Iryna Chuyankova and Taisa Naskovich finished 52 seconds later.
The second half-stage (15 km ITT) was won by Hanna Tserakh. Just a second lost to her Palina Konrad, and the third was Nastassia Kiptsikava.
In the third half-stage (30 km group race), there was again no equal to Hanna Tserakh, who came to the finish line with an advantage of 35 seconds over her rivals.
But Nastassia Kiptsikava still had the leader jersey.
At the fourth stage (86 km), Hanna Tserakh won another victory, and Nastassia Kiptsikava, who finished just 2 seconds behind, kept her lead in the general classification. The third place was taken by Alina Abramenko.
At the final fifth stage (75 km), Iryna Chuyankova celebrated the victory, who was ahead of Hanna Tserakh and Palina Konrad at the finish line.
Nastassia Kiptsikava took first place in the final overall standings. Hanna Tserakh was on the second position (0:22). The third place was taken by Iryna Chuyankova (1:23).
The shirt of the most active rider was given to Taisa Naskovich. And the best young rider was Palina Konrad. She also became the winner of the stage race in the overall standings among juniors. The second place was taken by Kseniya Shynkarenka, the third - by Yuliya Usava.
