The 2nd stage of the Tour of Antalya 2022 was noticeably more difficult than the first one, but it also ended with a group finish, in which Minsk Cycling Club racer Yauheni Karaliok took 25th place.

183.3 km race started in Kemer, from where it moved to the mountains, where two peaks of the second category were waiting for the athletes.

Vasili Bialiauski took part in a three-person breakaway of the day, which collected mountain points and soon ceased to exist.

The peloton, after overcoming all the climbs, broke into several groups. Yauhen Sobal, Vasili Strokau and Yauheni Karaliok managed to hold out in the first and most numerous one.

The final sprint through the streets of Antalya was spectacular, but tough. There were no falls. Fortunately, our riders managed to avoid massed falls.

Yauheni Karaliok finished in 25th position. Vasili Strokau was 39th, Yauhen Sobal - 47th.

Dzianis Mazur (106) and Stanislau Bazhkou (127) arrived in the second group, Mikhail Shemetau (133) and Vasili Bialiauski (144) came in the third.

The best rider of Minsk Cycling Club in the overall standings is still Yauheni Karaliok, who is 20th and 10 seconds behind the leader.

However, tomorrow the situation in the race is likely to change radically, as the mountain riders will get down to business.
