Belarusian Hanna Tserakh continues to demonstrate excellent form and high results at the Russian Cup in track cycling taking place in St. Petersburg. Omnium brought another success to the racer of Minsk Cycling Club.

Despite fierce competition from Russian athletes, Tserakh looked great in all four races of this discipline. Moreover, in scratch and the tempo race the Belarusian had no equal. Only in the elimination race Hanna settled with the fifth place. As it turned out, only to take a breath before the final points race. Our compatriot held it confidently and won a well-deserved victory in the race and in the overall standings. The winner got 130 points. The second and third places were taken by Russians Gulnaz Khatuntseva (122) and Valeria Valgonen (118).

Two more Belarusians got into the top 10 of the overall omnium standings - Taisa Naskovich (7) and Nastassia Kiptsikava (8).

In the men's omnium, the representatives of Belarus failed to intervene in the fight for medals. Raman Tsishkou took eighth place in the final overall standings, Dzianis Mazur finished in ninth position.
