Belarusian athletes performed successfully at the Russian Track Cycyling Championship and Cup in St. Petersburg.
Racer of Minsk Cycling Club Hanna Tserakh won a landslide victory in a multi-day race at the Russian Track Championship. Tserakh scored 46 out of 48 possible points. The third place in the overall standings was taken by the racer of the Belarusian national team Karalina Biruk. Iryna Chuyankova became 6th, Taisa Naskovich - 13th.
In the same discipline among men, Raman Ramanau came fourth. Yauheni Karaliok - 15th, Dzinis Mazur - 16th, Stsiapan Bezgerts - 21st, Artur Kiryevich - 22nd.
Artsiom Zaitsau received three awards at the Russian Cup. First, he won bronze in the 200-meter time trial, then won the sprint, and on the final day of the competition he added silver to his treasury in the keirin.
