Minsk Cycling Club racers won two medals in team pursuit race on the first day of the open All-Russian track cycling competitions of Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
The quartet consisting of Nastassia Kiptsikava, Iryna Chuyankova, Alina Karotkina, Taisa Naskovich won the qualification (4:30.999), and even improved their time in the final 4:28.358. However, the team of St. Petersburg was even faster in the decisive round. As a result, our girls won silver.
The second Belarusian team, for which the racers of Minsk Cycling Club Alina Abramenka, Kseniya Shynkarenka, Ekaterina Rusak and the Russian Diana Klimova, took the third step of the podium with a score of 4:34.854.
Another medal in the team race to Minsk Cycling Club was brought by junior women who won bronze. Palina Konrad, Adelina Sakun, Dziyana Laveika, Darya Haradko showed the fourth time in the qualifying round. And in the final for the third place they managed to improve and with the result of 4:43,360 they got into the prize-winners.
