The second day of Belarus Track Cycling Open Cup brought Minsk Cycling Club two victories in the individual pursuit race.
In the women's individual pursuit, Karolina Biriuk won the qualification, and then the final for the first place against the Russian Natalia Frolova.
In the bronze final, Belarusian Anastasia Kolesova fought with Russian Maria Rostovtseva. The duel ended not in favor of our compatriot.
Among men, representatives of Minsk Cycling Club took all the places on the podium. Dzianis Mazur and Raman Tsishkou were separated by only three tenths of a second in qualifying. In the decisive race, Mazur was again a little faster and took first place. Tsishkou got silver.
In the final, two racers from Minsk Cycling Club competed for the third place. Artur Kiryevich managed to improve his qualifying time, overtook Mark Grinkevich and got a bronze medal.
Sprinters competed in keirin that day. Despite the high competition from the Russian guests, Minsk Cycling Club did not remain without awards here either. Varvara Basiakova finished third in the women's final behind Yana Burlakova (Moscow) and Serafima Grishina (Tula).
Among men, the best of the Belarusians was Artsiom Zaitsau, who took the fourth place in the competition. Racer of Minsk Cycling Club Aliaksandr Hlova won the final for 7-12 places.
