Group races at the second stage of Belarus Road Cycling Cup in Mozyr brought another victory to Minsk Cycling Club.
In the women's 70 km race, on the third of eight laps, there was a breakaway, in which there were three Minsk Cycling Club racers - Hanna Tserakh, Taisa Naskovich, Iryna Chuyankova. They were accompanied by Anastasiya Kolesava. 15 km before the finish line, Tserakh and Kolesava remained in the lead. In the final showdown, the leader of Minsk Cycling Club was stronger than her opponent. In the struggle for third place, Naskovich was ahead of everyone.
The best of the junior women was Minsk Cycling Club racer Palina Konrad.
The men's 85 km race followed a similar pattern. A breakaway of seven people, six of whom represented Minsk Cycling Club, appeared half an hour after the start and managed to maintain their advantage. However, in the end, it was not without a showdown among the breakaway participants. The attack of Vasili Strokau and Uladzimir Harakhavik was successful. As a result, it was this tandem that played the victory at the finish line. Harakhavik turned out to be faster. And the third place went to Siarhei Shauchenka.
Uladzislau Kandratsenka, the racer of Minsk Cycling Club, became the winner among junior men.
